NEW ARRIVAL: Vega is the brightest star in the constellation Lyra, but this little beagle girl is just now learning to shine. She is timid and uncertain but we are confident that as she soaks up the love in her foster home - AND observes how well treated the other dogs there are - that she will brighten up quickly. Vega had a litter of puppies which were picked up by another rescue as soon as they were weaned. We're not sure why they left this sweet girl behind but we were glad to rescue her. So far we can tell you that she is a very laid back, low energy girl who enjoys being petted and wants to follow her human around. We will have more to share about this gentle lady after she has had a chance to settle into life in her foster home. Vega will need to be treated for heartworms before she can be adopted.
